Update on Shakil's condition

Dear all,

Shakil  had a tracheotomy( tube insertion in the wind pipe) yesterday,  removed secretion in the wind pipe and lung, his mouth was also washed. He is breathing by himself with minor supplement. It is expected that he should be able to breath without assistance. Except the brain , all organs are functioning normally. Irregular reflexes from his brain causing fluctuating blood pressure. Feeding tube and intravenous  medications are still   in operation. He is in ICU in Western Hospital, Melbourne and in good care. Doctors are doing their best.  His family( parents, wife with two kids) are constantly in the hospital.

Nothing else can be done now  except praying to almighty Allah.

It is extremely devastating and cannot express our sorrows in words.

His wife has requested you all that because of your prayer, Shakil will be recovered.

I have regular contact with his family and doctors and shall keep you  updated.
